Specifically, they were looking for ways to give microfibre cloths another meaningful use after their life cycle. So far, the only option has been thermal utilisation, which is often used as a euphemism for waste incineration.<\/p>\n<p>The diversity of disciplines that the students brought together in this Smart Lab was crucial for finding ideas for sustainable alternatives.
