The kick-off meeting for the new Smart Lab of Team B marked the official start of an exciting collaboration with Trendelkamp Technologie, where the engineering department traverses from extrusion technology to architectural technical solutions.
With the help of SSL, the company aims to integrate an internal AI for knowledge management – efficiently storing, retrieving and linking complex engineering knowledge. This enables the department to access information faster, make better-informed decisions and accelerate the development of new technologies. During the kick-off, the project scope was refined, wishes defined and initial technical requirements were discussed, laying the base for the upcoming research and development phase.
The team will now begin exploring the existing scope of Large Language Models and corresponding hardware architectures to create a tailored AI solution that integrates seamlessly into Trendelkamp’s daily engineering routines. Equipped with a clear roadmap and a shared vision, the team is now well-positioned to deliver a future-proof, empowering solution.
