Team D of the Smart Solution Labs kicked off an exciting collaboration with A. Leering Enschede – a trusted name in stainless steel, now boldly stepping into the future with ambitions to develop and market their own product line.
We were warmly welcomed with coffee and tea, setting a friendly tone for the day. Sales Director Anthony Janssen introduced us to the company’s rich history, sharing an engaging anecdote about the evolution of the family name. A. Leering, founded in 1845, is proudly celebrating its 180th anniversary this year, marking six generations of family leadership.
Anthony’s insightful presentation was complemented by a tour of the facilities, where we observed skilled employees working with stainless steel in two of their new buildings.
Post-tour, we delved into the exciting assignment that our interdisciplinary team will be tackling until July. We’re grateful to A. Leering for entrusting us with this project. The diverse expertise within our team—from specialized technical knowledge to strong business management skills—positions us well to deliver impactful results.
We’re enthusiastic about the journey ahead and are looking forward to a midterm catch-up with A. Leering in June to reflect on the first results and next steps.
